Job Overview
As an IT Support Specialist I, you will be stationed in Berlin, Germany, providing essential support in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. This role requires proficiency in both German and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver face-to-face IT assistance to users.
- Manage hardware setup, relocation, and removal.
- Diagnose issues related to personal computing devices, including PCs, laptops, printers, and scanners.
- Conduct testing for system and application modifications, and prepare scripts within the MS Windows 10 and MS Office 365 frameworks.
- Oversee small-scale projects associated with new hardware or software implementations.
- Install software, patches, and updates utilizing MS SCCM.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a technical ICT setting, ideally within a manufacturing context.
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-user technology.
- Familiarity with end-user workspace platforms, including discovery, asset management, and client management.
- Experience with Microsoft platforms such as Active Directory, Office, and SCCM.
- Proficiency in ITSM tools, particularly ticket management software, is preferred.
- Strong soft skills: planning and organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, analytical thinking, flexibility, and customer sensitivity.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both English and German.
