Sales Support Officer

Ardo is a leading international company in the frozen food industry, with a strong presence in 8 countries and a turnover of over 1.4 billion euros. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Support Officer to join our team in Ratingen, Germany.
About the RoleAs a Sales Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our sales team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with customers, sales managers, and internal stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on managing customer files, analyzing market data, and preparing customer meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively collaborate with account managers to manage customer files, market data, and product portfolios.
- Monitor and follow up on tenders and quotations, and manage customers' questionnaires and sustainability reports.
- Take the lead in communication with customers regarding article forms, action proposals, and sample shipments.
- Provide periodic reports on turnover, assortment, profitability, and customized reports for internal use and customers.
- Pricing management: Prepare quotations for account managers and manage promo activities.
- Accurate SLA follow-up of customers.
- Coordinate item screenings, follow-up, and introduction of new products.
- Coordinate small customer projects and serve as the internal communicator for customer-related questions.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- 5 years of experience in a large, fast-moving company in customer service, inside sales, or sales support.
- Excellent language skills in German (written and verbal) and English, with an additional language a plus.
- Commercial flair and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work with new IT systems (SAP) and have excellent Excel knowledge.
- Proactive and initiative-taking, with a passion for building strong business relationships.
- Eager to learn, develop, and be developed, with a flexible and multitasking approach.
- Positive attitude towards the company's future and a passion for winning.
