Key Account Manager Foodservice

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Lotus Bakeries. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing our Lotus Biscoff & Natural Foods business at OOH customers, focusing on delivery wholesale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for yearly and long-term, profitable sales growth of customers together with the Channel Manager OOH.
  • Translate the national brand and away-from-home strategy at customer level by means of growth pillars such as product listings, promotions, trade fairs, etc.
  • Establish strong commercial relationships with regional OOH trade partners (e.g. Intergast, Edeka FS, office supply channel).
  • Develop targeted, customer-related plans to achieve joint commercial objectives.
  • Steer annual negotiations with regional customers.
  • Build conceptual OOH-related trade selling stories on our Lotus Biscoff & Natural Foods portfolio.
  • Build and maintain an effective network within the OOH market and act as brand ambassador at customers, events, fairs, etc.
  • Analyze and translate relevant OOH market data.
  • Closely collaborate with Marketing/Category Management to jointly develop and implement key levers that enable to grow the business.
  • Monitor and manage all administrative, logistical or financial tasks encountered by customers in close consultation with the Key Account Assistant and other departments.
Requirements:
  • FMCG experience is a must.
  • First knowledge of the German Out of Home market structure.
  • Experience in sales process dynamics (interrelations head office vs regions).
  • Distinctive communication and negotiation capability.
  • Excellence in execution.
  • Good conceptual and analytical skills.
  • Affinity with numbers.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to take others on a joint journey.
  • Fluent in written and spoken German, good understanding of English (written and spoken).
