Commodity Manager Direct Material (m/f/d)

We are looking for a skilled Commodity Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our premium brands such as Husqvarna and Gardena.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of direct materials.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them in cooperation with internal stakeholders.
  • Performance monitoring: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure the procurement process is running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a structured and collaborative procurement team.
  • Knowledge of basic contract law.
  • Proficient in Global supply chain management.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, good understanding of figures and an independent, structured, goal-oriented way of working.
  • Team spirit, flexibility and assertiveness.
  • Enjoy working in national and international teams.
