Commodity Manager Direct Material (m/f/d)

Full-time

The Husqvarna Group, a leading global producer of outdoor power products, is seeking a skilled Commodity Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing our direct material supply chain, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of materials.
  • Risk management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Performance monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Completed commercial training, ideally supplemented by a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a structured and collaborative procurement team.
  • Knowledge of basic contract law.
  • Proficient in Global supply chain management.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, good understanding of figures, and an independent, structured, goal-oriented way of working.
  • Team spirit, flexibility, and assertiveness.
  • Enjoy working in national and international teams.
