Job Summary
RWE AG is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Analyst to join its Banking & Regulation team in the Controlling & Risk Management department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's regulatory reporting requirements are met, working closely with the Group's trading unit, RWE Supply and Trading GmbH (RWEST).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain regulatory reporting processes and structures to ensure compliance with national and international regulations.
- Collaborate with the Embedded IT team and REMIT customers to ensure seamless reporting processes.
- Review and implement new EU and US energy regulations regarding transaction reporting.
- Maintain and develop reporting structures for reporting obligations to national and international regulatory authorities.
- Regularly report transactions to BNetzA and regulators in various countries.
- Communicate with front office, back office, legal, IT, and representatives of national and international authorities and ministries.
- Document processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Administration, or similar work experience as an IT Business Analyst in the energy and/or banking sector.
- Good understanding of IT structures and ability to analyze business processes and translate them into IT requirements.
- Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages such as Power BI and Python.
- Proficiency in German and English languages (minimum level B2 in both languages).
- Proactive, independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach to work.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Desirable Skills
- Basic knowledge of financial or physical market regulations.
- Energy-specific knowledge, particularly in relation to energy regulation, products, and trading.
- Experience with ETRM systems such as Openlink Endur.
