Overview:

TalenTailors is in search of a meticulous and organized professional with a strong focus on license management. The role of License Manager is pivotal in ensuring adherence to software licensing agreements while maximizing license utilization throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of identifying, maintaining, and updating the comprehensive license inventory across the organization, ensuring accurate tracking of actual usage and commercial license volumes.
  • Oversee and enhance the Software Asset Management (SAM) processes to promote effective software license usage and prudent cost management.
  • Your role is crucial in guaranteeing compliant and economically efficient software deployment while meeting all compliance obligations.
  • Act as a primary contact for both internal and external stakeholders regarding licensing issues, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate guidelines, policies, and procedures related to license management to establish clear operational frameworks.
  • Conduct software and license assessments, as well as external license audits, to refine the license landscape and ensure compliance with all requirements.

Qualifications:

  • A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive professional experience in license management.
  • Experience with license metrics from major software vendors, including Microsoft, SAP, and VMWare, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in utilizing license management tools.
  • Expertise in executing license audits.
  • Strong command of German (minimum B2) and English (B2) in both written and verbal communication.
