Joint Training Exercise Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled JCX Planner and Coordinator to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. The successful candidate will provide support service functions for joint and combined exercises, including managing the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) and facilitating the coordination and implementation of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC).

Key Responsibilities

* Manage JTIMS to assist planning for joint and combined exercises
* Make technical updates to supporting systems as required
* Facilitate the coordination and implementation of JELC
* Monitor JOPES and validate entries as required
* Coordinate and assist exercise Action Officers in various planning stages
* Craft GO/FO level Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) messages
* Coordinate exercise requirements with funding manager
* Produce various products and reports as requested
* Provide technical expertise, advice, and assistance to the JCX Branch Chief and staff
* Coordinate with component and Joint Staff J7 personnel
* Process Significant Mission Exercise Briefs (SMEB) when required
* Action requests for information from the Office of the Secretary of Defense and National Security Council

Requirements

* Journeyman position with operational experience in joint and combined operations/exercises at the Combatant Command (CCMD) or Component level
* Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) from an accredited college or university
* 10 years of Military/DoD Civilian/DoD Contractor experience
* 2 years CCMD HQ experience, Multi-theater operational or senior staff (CCMD and/or Joint Staff) experience desired
* Ability to travel to countries in the USEUCOM Area of Responsibility
* Working knowledge of United States' Interagency processes and government agency activities
* Ability to work under stress and complete short-fused requirements
* Ability to work extended hours in support of exercise requirements
* Skills and experience in Microsoft Office computer programs (specifically Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
* Adequate understanding of NATO and its processes
* Experience and proven ability to organize/manage several projects
* Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
* Eligibility for or hold a TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance
