Certification Engineer for Medical Robots

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certification Engineer for Medical Robots to join our team at CSA Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of medical robot products with applicable legal standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpretation of standards, processes, and procedures related to the certification of medical robots.
  • Providing expert technical guidance to customers on the requirements and processes of medical robotics certification.
  • Analysis of medical robotic systems and test information to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to customers throughout the certification process.
  • Conducting technical reviews and independent checks to ensure the integrity of certification programs for medical robots.
  • Managing documentation and records related to certification activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in robotics, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the certification of medical devices or robotic systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical information.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of medical robotics certification.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English (written and spoken).
