We are looking for a talented **Software Engineering working student** (Backend or Fullstack) to contribute to our expanding technology team. 1KOMMA5° is establishing Germany's largest comprehensive platform for the sale, installation, and services associated with solar energy, heat pumps, electricity, and charging infrastructure. Your RoleAs a member of a cross-functional team in the B2C sector, you will develop backend or fullstack solutions for our clients, enhancing our Heartbeat App and the supporting backend services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow developers
- Identifying, assessing, implementing, and deploying software solutions for our primary customer-facing products
- Maintaining essential business applications
- Promoting a culture of innovation driven by experimentation within the team
- Enhancing customer satisfaction by continuously addressing technical debt, improving quality, and creating software that users appreciate
Technologies you will engage with include:
- Backend: TypeScript, NestJS
- Web Frontend (if pursuing Fullstack): React, TypeScript, Vercel
- Mobile (if pursuing Fullstack): Flutter
- Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, PubSub, CloudSQL, Firestore, BigQuery)
- Datadog
- Terraform

- You are currently enrolled at a university and can dedicate 20 hours per week
- You are pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- You have initial experience in developing backend services using TypeScript. Familiarity with React and Flutter is advantageous.
- You are enthusiastic about writing maintainable, well-documented, reusable, and testable code
- You stay updated on software engineering trends and are eager to learn industry best practices
- You possess an agile and results-oriented mindset and consider yourself a team player
- You have strong written and spoken English skills. Proficiency in German is a plus.
