In a global context, as a key member of our central Export Control team, the Export Control System Manager integrates the roles of Data Analyst, LEAN Specialist, and Digitalization Advisor across all Vitesco locations worldwide. Collaborating closely with regional Export Control teams, this role is pivotal in enhancing our internal compliance framework by devising effective improvement strategies and standardizing operational practices.
The Export Control System Manager functions as an internal consultant for Export Control, focusing on process enhancements and the formulation of a LEAN and Digitalization strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Systems Management
Serve as a liaison between the Export Control department and various stakeholders, including the IT department, to automate export control processes and develop efficient IT solutions.Oversee the implementation and continuous updating of export control requirements within the group-wide Export Control IT framework.Assess the Export Control implications of IT architecture and processes, establishing compliance requirements.Create and enforce company-wide guidelines and standards for IT solutions related to Export Control processes.Manage the implementation and enhancement of data analytics and risk assessment tools.Compliance Operations
Provide insights on business decisions through advanced data analysis to optimize resource allocation and enhance operational efficiency.Collaborate with the central Master Data Governance Team to ensure proper storage of relevant information, including screening results.Data Analytics
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to present a comprehensive overview of Export Control-related data.Analyze extensive datasets to derive meaningful insights and assess risks for decision-makers.Conduct data-driven risk assessments in alignment with the internal compliance program.Establish new patterns and rules for risk identification and mitigation.Process Improvement
Develop an internal knowledge repository on Export Control, promoting independent education among stakeholders.Facilitate workshops aimed at uncovering untapped potential and refining processes.Formulate a strategy for the ongoing enhancement of export control processes, leveraging LEAN methodologies.LEAN & Digitalization Initiatives
Lead LEAN projects to improve the efficiency of Export Control processes in collaboration with LEAN coaches.Foster a LEAN mindset and competencies within the Export Control organization and among external stakeholders.Devise a digital strategy that includes researching market solutions, supporting automation initiatives, and guiding the Export Control community.Explore and implement digitalization and integration solutions within the Export Control framework using automation tools.Your Profile:
Degree in business informatics, business administration, or a related field.Extensive experience in Export Control and Sanctions regulations, particularly in German, European, and international contexts.Proven expertise in developing export control measures and implementing them in SAP systems and Export Control IT tools.Strong knowledge of SAP and data analytics.Experience working internationally.Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and conceptual thinking.Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.Proficient in MS Office 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.Familiarity with LEAN methodologies and digital solutions.Strong presentation skills in leadership contexts.Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Able to navigate complex and conflicting situations effectively.Team-oriented mindset.At Vitesco Technologies, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
