Role Purpose

The HR Administrator will assist the Human Resources function, primarily supporting the HR Manager in Germany with all operational aspects and the employee life cycle from onboarding to resignation or termination.

Role Overview

As an HR Administrator, you will be accountable for the administration and general duties concerning all German employees, which includes drafting employment contracts, certificates, and letters, managing absences, overseeing payroll administration, and engaging in various HR activities. This position necessitates a high level of discretion, as the role holder will have access to confidential personnel information.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities

· Independently prepare contracts, certificates, and references.

· Compile starter documentation and related materials.

· Organize and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.

· Maintain personnel master data and other essential documents.

· Oversee absence management.

· Assist in the preparation of monthly payroll in collaboration with our external payroll office.

· Participate in various HR projects.

· Prepare personnel statistics and reporting.

· Support our international recruitment process, including relocation.

Requirements

Person Specification

The Human Resources Administrator should demonstrate the following competencies and behaviors:

· Initial work experience in operational HR, such as internships or student traineeships, or a successfully completed bachelor's degree focused on human resources or comparable professional training.

· Strong communication skills, demonstrating a professional and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and external parties, while maintaining reliability even under high workload and time pressure.

· Basic knowledge of German labor and social security law is desirable.

· Fluent in German, with very good written and spoken English skills.

· Excellent IT skills, with confidence in using MS Office and other HR software tools.

· A self-starter with exceptional attention to detail.

· A highly independent, professional, and reliable work ethic, complemented by strong organizational skills; a team player who is communicative, open, and possesses a sense of humor.

· Actively participates in identifying innovative approaches to enhance or increase existing value within the organization.

· A clear alignment with the company's vision and values, acting as a true ambassador for the organization.

· Attention to detail, particularly in proofreading materials intended for external distribution.

· Demonstrable experience in a dynamic, fast-changing organization.

· Experience in an international environment is desirable.
