Position Overview: Information Security Specialist
As an integral part of msg life, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our security framework and ensuring the integrity of our digital insurance solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of our comprehensive insurance software, aimed at achieving a fully digitalized operational model.
- Actively participate in refining the Security Architecture to facilitate the delivery of our solutions as a Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Formulate IT security strategies and guidelines, collaborating closely with IT and software development teams to ensure effective implementation in product and client projects.
- Oversee Security Monitoring and Reporting, and engage in Security Audits and Penetration Testing activities.
- Participate in pre-sales initiatives, conduct studies, and lead Proof of Concepts, while presenting key topics throughout the organization and facilitating customer workshops and training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in agile software development and architecture consulting with a focus on IT Security.
- Strong proficiency in securing and fortifying production environments and services.
- Familiarity with security methodologies and standards such as ISO27000 and BSI Grundschutz.
- Competence in Java/JEE and knowledge of relevant Open Source frameworks and tools.
- Additional expertise in Cloud Security or security in virtualized environments is advantageous.
- A mindset that is analytical, creative, organized, team-oriented, results-driven, and solution-focused.
