Join Freudenberg: Elevate Your Career in Risk Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance annual risk management reporting frameworks, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risk management reporting. This involves updating reporting templates, monitoring submissions from all units, and evaluating and analyzing reported risks. You will present findings to the Risk Council, Management Board, and Audit Committee.
- Conduct ad hoc risk assessments on pressing issues to ensure proactive management.
- Advance the Catalogue of Standard Internal Controls and assess annual compliance reporting.
- Lead or collaborate on projects focused on risk assessments of specific business sectors or the implementation of new regulations that are pertinent across the organization.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial statements and contribute to the annual reports of the Freudenberg Group, particularly concerning ESG and risk management matters.
Required Qualifications:
- A completed university degree in economics, a DHBW degree, or equivalent qualifications.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in group accounting, controlling, finance, or within an auditing firm.
- Strong expertise in risk management and control systems.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, coupled with a robust understanding of financial data.
- Proficient in English, with knowledge of an additional foreign language being advantageous.
