Risk Assessment Specialist

Join Freudenberg: Elevate Your Career in Risk Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance annual risk management reports, including those focused on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors. This includes updating reporting templates, monitoring submissions from various units, assessing and interpreting reported risks, and providing insights to the Risk Council, Management Board, and Audit Committee.
- Conduct targeted risk assessments on emerging issues.
- Advance the Standard Internal Controls Catalogue and assess annual compliance reporting.
- Lead or contribute to projects such as risk evaluations in specific business sectors or the implementation of new regulations that are relevant across the organization.
- Collaborate in the preparation of quarterly financial reports and the annual reports for the Freudenberg Group, with a particular focus on ESG and risk management aspects.
Required Qualifications:
- A completed university degree in economics, a DHBW degree, or equivalent training.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in group accounting, controlling, finance, or within an auditing firm.
- Strong expertise in risk management and control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, along with a solid grasp of numerical data.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of an additional foreign language is advantageous.
