Your Role: The primary responsibility of the Project Coordinator is to provide independent support for engineering subprojects within INEOS Automotive's current product program, including Model Year Makeovers, new regional derivatives, and new powertrain variants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management of a defined and self-contained project within the engineering division.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery while adapting to necessary changes to meet project objectives.
- Contribute technically to internal, external, or mixed project teams.
- Regularly report project status directly to the Project Lead.
- Actively participate as a member of the Engineering team, fostering effective communication and positively contributing to meetings.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, particularly concerning scope changes and their impact on the assigned project.
- Ensure coordination, communication, and transparency among internal and external stakeholders involved in the project.
- Collaborate closely with third-party suppliers on all aspects of planning, scheduling, and control within your area of expertise.
- Maintain proper project documentation.
- Identify problems, recognize trends, propose system improvements, and implement necessary changes.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a Tier 1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM, with a solid understanding of the automotive design and launch process from concept to end-of-lifecycle.
- A completed engineering degree or equivalent technical vocational training.
- Knowledge of automotive operations is advantageous.
- Extensive automotive knowledge acquired through a career focused on product launches.
- Proven project management skills with a successful delivery track record.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal clients and external supply chains.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
- Comfortable interacting with employees at all organizational levels, possessing advanced verbal and written communication skills, and capable of delivering presentations.
