Job Title: Principal Product Marketing Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Marketing Specialist to join our team at Renesas Electronics. As a key member of our Automotive Digital Product Marketing Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our next-generation Automotive MCU Products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of global marketing strategies for Renesas Automotive Microcontrollers.
  • Collect, define, and closely follow up on customer requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Coordinate projects with major automotive customers to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Lead the development of product roadmaps in collaboration with internal technical marketing and design teams.
  • Work closely with internal support teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive customer promotion strategies and execute market introduction plans.
  • Coordinate information exchange with Renesas Japan to ensure global alignment.
  • Report performance indicators to upper management to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and drive market introduction plans, including lead customer identification and market segment targeting.
  • Ensure the availability of comprehensive product packages, including documentation, starter kits, and software, for market introduction.
  • Produce high-quality marketing materials, such as whitepapers, press releases, and webinars.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in electronic engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in product marketing for the semiconductor industry.
  • Proven track record of product definition and requirement management.
  • Strong understanding of embedded microcontrollers and ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication and team-oriented skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural and agile environment.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German (preferable).
  • Proficiency in software IT infrastructure and standard PC tools (MS-Office).
  • Experience in automotive system design, E/E architecture, artificial intelligence, customer negotiations, and handling complex technical RfQ's is highly desirable.
