Site Construction Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Optimus Life Sciences. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects in the biopharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and ensure compliant construction execution, analyzing and mitigating risks as necessary.
- Manage and deliver clean and black utility systems for biopharmaceutical facilities as project engineer during design, procurement, project execution, and turnover to operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure quality on the construction site.
- Control and review construction progress.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) to deliver qualitatively acceptable equipment to the site in a timely manner.
- Responsible for erection activities and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) regarding transferred process equipment.
- Participate in site inspections and acceptance tests.
- Organize daily coordination meetings and work schedules.
- Oversee, align, and review engineering documents created by the contractor.
- Check and approve measurements.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering/Science (e.g., Mechanical, Construction) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years or more construction programs experience in Pharmaceutical/Industrial Engineering projects.
- Professional experience in construction management or project management.
- German and English language skills.
- At least 5 years of experience in biopharma projects.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
- Significant experience in an engineering environment with a focus on execution and project delivery.
