Transition Manager for our Data Center business in Europe

Key Responsibilities- Manage and support the delivery of data centre transitions within established governance and timelines, ensuring client readiness prior to service commencement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the transition process, providing follow-up on outstanding deliverables and ensuring successful client delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance client enablement and implementation functions.
- Host transition kick-off meetings and internal/external transition meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Assign ownership and accountability for tasks within the transition plan, ensuring clear responsibilities and expectations.
- Monitor and report on pre- and post-launch concerns to critical stakeholders, providing regular updates to the Transition Director for Europe.
- Manage the virtual transition team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across workstreams.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including providing support to the Transition Director for Europe.
- 5+ years of experience in the data centre industry, with operational or project management and implementation experience, preferably in operational service management.
- Strong process improvement skills, with the ability to analyze and implement changes to enhance client enablement and implementation functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively present information to senior-level client executives.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to understand the critical path of any transition delivery and report/escalate as required.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to clients, with a high level of self-direction and decision-making.
- Basic knowledge of technology and financial terms and principles, with the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents, solve advanced problems, and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
- Demonstrable experience with implementations of services and/or software solutions, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and Smartsheets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with dynamic objectives, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
