Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Workshop Technician/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in the production and assembly of metal components and structures, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Execute metal fabrication processes, including cutting, drilling, grinding, and shaping metal materials in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Utilize and maintain a variety of tools and machinery, such as milling machines, saws, drills, and grinders.
- Assemble and fit metal parts to create finished products or structures, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering team to analyze technical drawings and blueprints, offering suggestions for enhancements when necessary.
- Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance, identifying defects or discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices in metal fabrication.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning workshop environment, reporting any equipment issues or maintenance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience as a Workshop Technician or in a comparable metal fabrication position.
- Expertise in metal cutting, grinding, and shaping techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Familiarity with metalworking tools and machinery.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a startup setting.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; proficiency in English is essential, and German language skills (B1) are a plus.
- Physical capability to manage heavy metal materials and equipment.
