Our company started off as a 3 van rental company in Portugal in 2013, and has since become Europe's largest campervan rental company. With a fleet of vehicles, Indie Campers currently operates over 40 locations across Europe. We've been recognized as one of the fastest growing companies in Europe and a leading player in the travel sector. We're a tight-knit group of friends who love spreading the travel bug.

If you're adventurous and looking for an international experience in a fast-paced tourism environment, you're in the right place. We're seeking a Rental Service Representative to join our team in one of our many European locations.

The Rental Service Representative will be the direct point of contact for Indie Campers with our clients, providing world-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct contact with clients, providing exceptional customer service;
  • Receive and deliver campervans (check-ins and check-outs);
  • Register guests, process payments, and explain vehicle functionalities, reservation details, and terms & conditions;
  • Maintain updated information on van availability, reservations, and guest communications;
  • Perform supportive functions to ensure smooth operations, including picking up guests from/to the airport and preparing vans;
  • Verify and prepare vans before each booking;
  • Perform inspections and keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition.

Requirements:

  • You have proven work experience as a team leader in Hospitality, Rent-a-Car, Retail, Customer Service, or similar operational environments;
  • You're fluent in English;
  • You're eligible to work in the EU, have a valid driver's license, and feel confident enough to drive a campervan;
  • You're available for flexible working hours;
  • You like working with people and have excellent communication skills;
  • You like responsibility, you're independent, well-organized, and you're good at solving problems.

Nice to Have:

  • Degree in Tourism or Hospitality;
  • Affinity with campervans or vehicle maintenance.
