HEAD OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT FOR ELECTRONICS

In the capacity of Head of Product Management for Electronics (focused on Control, Energy, and Electrical Systems), you will report directly to the Senior Manager of our Solution Center for New Energy Systems. Your primary responsibility will encompass overseeing product management activities and leading a dedicated local team of energy and electrical engineers in the management and laboratory testing of control products.
As a leader of a small team, you will be committed to mentoring, developing, attracting, and motivating your team to foster effective leadership, collaboration, and a balanced approach to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). You will set high expectations for teamwork, collaboration, and execution, driven by determination, initiative, and an open mindset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Define, specify, and implement control functions and hardware for the safe and efficient operation of heating systems (including heat pumps, solar, gas, oil, and hybrid systems) Collaborate, communicate, and coordinate with international suppliers and development teams Assess customer and system requirements Integrate connectivity and cloud-based data structures Conduct approval tests and functional tests of prototypes (e.g., in a demo case or laboratory setting) Support laboratory and field tests in control and electrical engineering domains Develop competitor analyses, requirement specifications, component specifications, parts lists, and technical documentation Assist in quality assurance processes Manage electronic components throughout the entire product lifecycleREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in electrical and control engineering or a related field Over 10 years of substantial experience in the development and/or product management of electronic devices, ideally within the building energy systems sector Practical team leadership experience is advantageous Familiarity with control systems, heating technology, energy management, building automation, Building Management Systems (BMS), bus communication protocols, electronics, PCB, hardware design, laboratory testing, product management, renewable energy, and HVAC Attention to detail with a development-oriented and hands-on approach Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP Excellent communication skills in German and English; Italian is a plus Methodical, analytical, and systematic work style Strong technical communication skills, adaptability, commitment, and teamwork abilities Willingness to travel is essential.BENEFITS
