Electronics Product Manager

At Elco Heating Solutions, we're seeking a skilled Electronics Product Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you'll be responsible for defining, specifying, and implementing control functions and hardware for our heating systems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with international suppliers and development departments to ensure seamless product development
  • Evaluate customer and system requirements to drive product innovation
  • Integrate connectivity and cloud-based data structures to enhance product performance
  • Conduct approval and functional tests of prototypes to ensure quality and safety
  • Support lab and field tests in control and electrical engineering areas
  • Develop competitor analyses, requirement specifications, component specifications, and technical documentation
  • Support quality assurance initiatives to ensure product excellence
  • Oversee electronic components throughout the product life cycle

Requirements

  • Studies in electrical, mechanical, energy, building, or control engineering, or similar qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in control engineering and product management
  • Knowledge of control, heating systems, energy management, building automation, BMS, bus communications protocols, electronics, PCB, hardware design, lab tests, product management, renewable, and HVAC is a plus
  • Passion for details with a development-oriented and hands-on mindset
  • Excellent German and English communication skills, Italian is a plus
  • Thorough, analytical, and systematic way of working
  • Technical communication skills, flexibility, commitment, and ability to work in a team
  • Availability to travel is a basic requirement
