Job Description

Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly motivated Trade Compliance Specialist to join our Trade Compliance Department in a dynamic role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough sanction list checks as part of our Internal Compliance Program
  • Prepare and submit export and import declarations for Germany and the UK
  • Perform HS-code tariffing for Germany and the UK
  • Classify export-controlled items for Germany, the UK, and US re-export
  • Coordinate license applications for Germany and the UK
  • Review and approve pro-forma invoices
  • Obtain supplier declarations
  • Serve as the primary contact for customs and export-related issues in daily business
  • Develop and maintain GTC EMEA Intranet pages in SharePoint
  • Prepare and submit Intrastat reports

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in trade compliance
  • Substantial knowledge of customs and export control regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Apps (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
  • Basic understanding of SAP
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in English and German
