Solar Construction Manager Job Description

Amber Renewables is seeking a highly skilled Solar Construction Manager to oversee the construction of our solar parks across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on Italy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the construction process, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Perform on-site quality checks of works and services, acting as the technical project manager and interface between the Engineering Team and Construction Partners.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and third parties, ensuring smooth coordination and communication throughout the construction process.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, and oversee the commissioning and handover of projects to the Operation & Services Team.
  • Commence weekly progress reports, inventory lists, and quality reports to track project milestones and ensure accountability.
Requirements:
  • Relevant work experience in managing international construction sites as an experienced or senior Construction Manager (Ground-Mount or Rooftop).
  • Background as an electrician or similar knowledge in electrical systems.
  • Fluent in German, with proficiency in English being advantageous.
  • Proficiency in PV-Sol, PV-Syst or CAD.
  • Strong assertiveness, communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset, coupled with a well-structured approach to work.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the EMEA region.
