Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Specialist - Accounts Receivable Expert to join our Finance team in Hamburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our accounts receivable processes, as well as providing support to our customers and network partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable Management
    • Complete monthly closing activities for the AR subledger
    • Support customers and network partners in daily collection processes
    • Handle activities concerning public social customers with third-party partners
    • Aid in dispute resolution procedures
    • Assist in reconciling intercompany transactions
    • Engage in projects focused on optimizing working capital
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions
    • Prepare and review financial reports, including accounts receivable and cash flow statements
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Completion of commercial training
    • Prior experience in accounting, preferably in Accounts Receivable
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Familiarity with common accounting software (knowledge of Oracle is advantageous)
    • Proficiency in MS-Office, particularly Excel
    • Advantageous knowledge in IFRS/IAS
    • Fluency in German and a good command of English
