Job Title: Accounting Specialist - General Ledger

Amplifon is a global leader in the hearing care retail industry, with a start-up approach and a focus on innovation. We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist - General Ledger to join our Finance Team in Hamburg.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and book business transactions, including IFRS/IAS and HGB
  • Ensure reconciliation between IFRS/IAS and HGB
  • Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/IAS and HGB
  • Prepare monthly tax calculations
  • Develop and implement the Internal Control Framework / L
  • Act as a contact person for audit processes
  • Implement projects as part of continuous improvement processes
  • Provide accounting support for M&A activities
Your Profile:
  • University studies in accounting or a commercial apprenticeship, ideally as an accountant (m/f/d), balance sheet accountant (m/f/d), tax clerk (m/f/d)
  • Professional experience in a corporate or with an audit/tax consultancy firm
  • Good knowledge of international (IFRS) and German (HGB) accounting
  • User knowledge of common accounting software; Oracle knowledge is a plus
  • Analytical way of thinking, high level of initiative, willingness to take responsibility
  • Fluent in English and good command of German
