This role is part of the IT consulting and service division of KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft. You will work alongside your team to manage the IT infrastructure and assist various departments in deploying business software that enhances efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Responsibilities

- As an IT Solutions Consultant (w/m/d), you will oversee the administration and implementation of specialized applications.
- Your role will include independently analyzing and resolving issues, as well as coordinating service requests in 2nd/3rd level support.
- You will be responsible for deploying updates, hotfixes, and new releases, along with the necessary coordination.
- You will manage applications throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Additionally, you will conduct requirement analysis, assess new needs, implement solutions, and transition them into operational status.
- You will oversee the operation of platforms for data solutions.
- Documentation and maintenance of the internal knowledge database will also be part of your duties.
- Your involvement in ongoing projects and the enhancement of existing applications will be essential.
- You will automate and optimize current processes and interfaces.
- Providing support and advice on technical inquiries will be part of your responsibilities.
- To become an IT Solutions Consultant (w/m/d) with us, you should have a degree in (Business) Informatics or a related field, or a technical education (e.g., IT specialist in system integration).
- Solid knowledge in database administration (MS SQL Server) and web servers (Internet Information Service) is required.
- Practical experience in executing IT projects and transitioning applications into production is essential.
- A strong command of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Internet Information Service) and common web technologies is expected.
- You should have experience in problem analysis in collaboration with various departments and in developing and implementing solution concepts.
- Ideally, you have gained practical knowledge in data platforms such as Power BI and Alteryx.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI Report Server) is advantageous.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is required.
- Your independent work style, motivation for diverse tasks and projects, and strong interpersonal skills will set you apart.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for teamwork will complete your qualifications.
