Product Owner for Customer Engagement

Your Role:
As a Product Owner focused on Base Management (m/f/d), you will be integral to our agile, cross-functional team that aims to enhance customer relationships. Your key responsibility will be to lead the development of our products and services on advanced technological platforms, with a strong emphasis on strengthening customer connections.
You will play a crucial role in our exciting cross-sell and upsell transformation initiatives, striving to improve customer experiences and simplify their interactions with us.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Consulting: Provide guidance to business units in implementing telecommunications products and services, from initial consultation to successful market launch.
- Digital Experience: Ensure a seamless digital customer journey through process standardization and automation.
- Product Ownership: Develop and execute structural changes to tackle current and future challenges, including roadmap creation and management frameworks.
- Requirements Engineering: Optimize existing processes and contribute to digital transformation by identifying and implementing measures for modern software development, particularly in agile analysis.
- Project Management: Oversee small to medium-sized projects, ensuring successful delivery by coordinating with stakeholders while managing time, quality, and budget.
- Vendor Management: Manage international external service providers responsible for technical product management on behalf of Telefónica Deutschland.
Qualifications:
- A degree in business informatics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical product management, preferably in larger, agile IT organizations. Experience in the telecommunications or media sector is advantageous.
- Exceptional skills in requirements engineering, agile methodologies, and software development processes.
- Proven ability to facilitate change processes with strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also making independent decisions and taking responsibility. A structured, self-reliant, and results-oriented work style is essential.
- Proficient in both spoken and written German, with good command of English.
