Role Overview
As a Product Owner focused on Base Management (m/f/d), you will be an integral part of our innovative, cross-functional team aimed at enhancing customer relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to advocate for the advancement of our products and services across our state-of-the-art technological platforms, with an emphasis on strengthening the connection between Telefónica and our clientele.
You will play a crucial role in our transformative cross and upsell initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of customer experiences and simplifying their interactions with our services.
Key Responsibilities
- IT Consulting: Provide guidance to business units in the deployment of telecommunications products, services, and portfolios, encompassing initial consultations, requirement assessments, software development, and successful market launches.
- Digital Transformation: Ensure a cohesive digital customer journey across all platforms through process standardization and automation.
- Product Ownership: Design and implement structural changes to meet current and future challenges, including roadmap development and management decision frameworks.
- Requirements Engineering: Optimize existing processes and actively engage in digital transformation by identifying and executing measures for modern software development, particularly in agile analysis and requirements engineering.
- Project Management: Manage small to medium-sized projects, ensuring successful execution through proactive stakeholder coordination while carefully overseeing time, quality, and budget.
- Vendor Management: Oversee international external service providers responsible for technical product management on behalf of Telefónica Deutschland.
Qualifications
- A degree (or equivalent qualification) in business informatics, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in technical product management, preferably within larger, agile IT organizations. Experience in the telecommunications or media sectors is advantageous.
- Exceptional skills in requirements engineering, agile methodologies, and the optimization of software development processes.
- Proven experience in facilitating change processes, along with strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting while also being capable of independent decision-making and responsibility. A structured, self-reliant, and results-oriented work style is essential.
- Proficient in both spoken and written German, with a good command of English.
