Information Security Executive

Schulz & Cie. Consulting GmbH is seeking a highly skilled professional to take on the role of Chief Information Security Officer. This pivotal position involves overseeing and enhancing our information security framework to ensure robust protection against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with management to develop and refine information security policies while providing expert advice on security matters.
- Create and maintain security protocols and relevant regulations as necessary.
- Implement compliance controls to ensure adherence to established security guidelines, monitoring performance against IT service providers.
- Contribute to the formulation and revision of the IT emergency response plan.
- Initiate and oversee security enhancement initiatives.
- Engage in IT-related projects to ensure security considerations are integrated.
- Act as the primary contact for security inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents and report findings to the management team.
- Facilitate awareness and training programs focused on information security.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of information security, with quarterly reports and additional updates as needed.
This role is particularly relevant for professionals with experience in:
- Financial institutions
- Banking
- FinTech companies
- Securities firms
- A minimum of several years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in an auditing firm or within a BaFin-regulated financial organization.
