Verivox Information Security Officer Position
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Officer to join our team at Verivox GmbH. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for protecting our information assets from security risks and ensuring compliance with security requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks to our information assets.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that our security practices align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Security Strategy and Policy Development: Develop and implement information security strategies and policies to protect our assets.
- ISMS and ISO 27001: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our Information Security Management System (ISMS) to align with the ISO 27001 standard.
- Security Advisory and Consulting: Provide security advice and guidance to executive management and other stakeholders.
- Security Initiatives and Collaboration: Coordinate security initiatives and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective security practices.
- Security Audits and Risk Assessments: Organize security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
- Security Process Optimization: Continuously improve and optimize our security processes to ensure they are efficient and effective.
- Security Incident Response: Manage the response to security incidents and ensure that they are handled in a timely and effective manner.
- Security Awareness and Training: Develop and implement security awareness training programs to educate employees on security best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- IT Management and Security Experience: Solid experience in IT management and information security.
- Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISP.
- Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in e-commerce, web application security, and cryptography.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in German and English.
