Your responsibilities

As a development intern within our Strategic Innovation Projects Team, you will engage in pioneering initiatives that highlight the advantages of our Business Technology Framework. Under the guidance of an experienced developer, you will have the opportunity to interact directly with clients and users to carry out all essential tasks, including requirements analysis, software architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.

You will collaborate closely with an agile group of interns with technical and design expertise to merge ideas and collectively deliver tangible applications to actual users.

We seek a development intern with a comprehensive understanding of the software creation lifecycle. You should be capable of participating in a software project at every phase to craft what is necessary to provide an exceptional experience for real users.

Your qualifications

Enrolled student (f/m/d) at a university of applied sciences in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related discipline

Technical skills:

Strong foundational knowledge in computer science and software development methodologies: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., git) Experience in mobile application development for iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit) Understanding of user experience principles and techniques Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs is advantageous Experience in augmented/virtual reality is a plus (e.g., RealityKit, ARKit) Knowledge of DevOps practices is a plus (e.g., Continuous Integration with Jenkins or Travis) Background in game design or 3D modeling is a plus Experience in artificial intelligence is a plus

Language proficiency:

Proficient in German or English (both written and spoken)

Experience:

This role is entry-level. It presents an excellent opportunity for any driven development student eager to gain hands-on experience in software development.

The Strategic Projects team is a vibrant group at the core of the 'Business Technology Framework (BTF) Foundation Engineering' division. We concentrate on innovative solutions for cross-BTF issues and enhancing BTF products and services. We prepare presentations and offer expert insights on strategic BTF technology matters. Our team is organized into specialized and functional focus areas, collaborating with other teams to fulfill our mission.
