Business Unit Overview
The Distribution Division at Insight encompasses five primary functions:
- Consultant Relations: This team, located in key regions, focuses on nurturing and managing relationships with global and regional investment consultants, keeping them informed about innovative investment strategies.
- Business Development: Engages with institutional prospects, ensuring they are aware of Insight's comprehensive capabilities.
- Marketing: Collaborates with various business areas to deliver effective communications and manage institutional pipeline processes.
- Product Development: Works across the organization to identify and launch new products while updating existing offerings.
- Business Planning: Coordinates sales strategies and internal reporting, ensuring effective operations with distributors.
Role Overview:
- Assist the Business Development team in enhancing Insight's Assets under Management in the German market.
- Focus on Solutions (LDI, CDI) and Fixed Income strategies tailored for institutional investors in Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Business Development team members in cultivating and maintaining knowledge-based relationships with key contacts in the German institutional market, including:
- Preparing and updating pitch materials (presentations, factsheets, marketing collateral, RFPs, etc.).
- Managing post-sales processes as needed (follow-up preparations, pipeline management, meeting documentation, etc.).
- Maintaining relationships with relevant internal stakeholders (Sales Force team, product specialists, consultant and client teams).
- Assisting in the continuous evolution of investment narratives.
- Conducting desk research on an as-needed basis.
- Participating in Business Development projects.
Qualifications:
Insight seeks a fluent German speaker with 0 - 3 years of relevant experience in financial services, including investment, actuarial, pension consulting, asset management, banking, insurance, or auditing. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, demonstrating energy, drive, and enthusiasm for their work. Candidates should ideally exhibit:
- A degree in Economics or Finance, preferably with a quantitative focus.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships.
- A strong motivation to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- A commitment to understanding the German institutional marketplace, including regulatory and operational frameworks.
