Team Overview
The energy trading division is tasked with optimizing assets across various markets, balancing renewable sources, and engaging in proprietary trading. We employ algorithmic trading strategies for short-term power across an expanding geographical area, supported by a highly skilled team of experienced software engineers, leading AI specialists, and power trading experts.
Position Overview
To achieve our ambitious objectives and amplify our impact, we are seeking skilled professionals who are eager to apply their expertise and enthusiasm to the energy transition. We are looking for a Head of Power Operations (m/f/d) to play a pivotal role in establishing the core of our trading and balancing operations, with opportunities to explore new areas of responsibility.
- Oversee energy data management processes
- Manage the nomination of schedules, such as in ESS
- Serve as the primary liaison with TSOs and DSOs, overseeing relevant projects and processes
- Act as the system and product owner for energy data management systems
- Coordinate with internal and external service providers
- Potential to expand responsibilities to include master data management and adjacent systems, such as virtual power plants or redispatch 2.0.
- University degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in energy data management, particularly MaBiS / MaKo; experience in other market areas is advantageous
- Leadership experience, such as in project management, is a plus
- Proficiency in automating data management processes using Python
- Fluency in both German and English
