The energy trading division is tasked with optimizing assets across diverse markets, balancing renewable sources, and engaging in proprietary trading. Position Overview
To achieve our objectives and amplify our impact, we are seeking talented individuals who are eager to contribute their expertise and enthusiasm to the energy transition. We are looking to enhance our team with a Head of Power Operations (m/f/d). This role presents a unique opportunity to establish the core of our trading and balancing operations while exploring new areas of responsibility.
- Oversee energy data management processes
- Manage the nomination of schedules, such as in ESS
- Serve as the primary liaison to TSOs and DSOs, overseeing relevant projects and processes
- Act as a system and product owner for the tools supporting energy data management
- Supervise both internal and external service providers
- Potential to expand responsibilities to include master data management and oversight of related systems, including virtual power plants or redispatch 2.0.
- University degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in energy data management, particularly with MaBiS / MaKo; experience in other market areas is advantageous
- Initial leadership experience, such as in project management roles, is beneficial
- Proficiency in automating data management processes using Python
- Fluency in both German and English
