We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced computational bioinformatics specialist to join our team at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. As a key member of our research group, you will play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of translational tumor immunology and developing innovative strategies for cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement computational pipelines for single-cell RNA/DNA/TCR/ATAC sequencing and spatial transcriptomics
- Analyze large-scale immunogenomics datasets to identify patterns and correlations
- Develop and optimize custom sequencing methods and analysis pipelines
- Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to integrate computational insights into clinical practice
- Supervise and guide the work of PhD, master, and medical students
- PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in R, Python, shell, or similar languages in a UNIX environment
- Experience with single-cell and spatial transcriptomics data analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
