Job Title: NDT Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Inspector to join our team at FL Technics Wheels & Brakes GmbH. in Hannover.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic and inspection work to ensure the quality and safety of aircraft wheels and brakes.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections of wheel/brake components and assemblies.
  • Apply non-destructive material testing methods, including ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle inspection, and penetrant inspection, in accordance with DIN EN 4179.
  • Identify and initiate additional examinations as needed.
  • Determine and initiate necessary repairs on components.
  • Evaluate and document test results, considering valid instructions, guidelines, regulations, and manufacturer/customer documentation.
  • Read and implement manufacturer and customer documentation.
  • Conduct final inspections and general workshop work.
Requirements:
  • Technical apprenticeship and several years of experience as an NDT technician.
  • Experience with Eddy current (current level II) (DIN EN 4179).
  • Preferable experience as an Inspector in magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and penetrant testing Level II (DIN EN 4179).
  • Preferable experience in metalworking work, e.g., automotive mechatronics technician.
  • Basic knowledge of English.
  • Willingness to do shift work.
