Job Title: NDT Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled NDT Inspector to join our team at FL Technics Wheels & Brakes GmbH.

About the Role

As an NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic and inspection work on aircraft wheels and brakes. This will involve visual and dimensional inspection of components and assemblies, as well as the application of non-destructive material testing methods such as ultrasonic, eddy current, magnetic particle inspection, and penetrant inspection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out diagnostic and inspection work on aircraft wheels and brakes
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of components and assemblies
  • Apply non-destructive material testing methods to ensure quality and safety
  • Identify and initiate additional examinations as necessary
  • Determine and initiate necessary repairs on components
  • Evaluate and document test results in accordance with valid instructions and guidelines
  • Read and implement manufacturer and customer documentation
  • Carry out final inspection and quality control
Requirements
  • Technical apprenticeship and several years of experience as an NDT technician
  • Experience with Eddy current testing (Level II) and other non-destructive testing methods
  • Preferable experience as an Inspector in magnetic particle, ultrasonic, and penetrant testing (Level II)
  • Preferable experience of metalworking work, such as automotive mechatronics technician
  • Basic knowledge of English
  • Willingness to work shifts
