The purpose of the job role is achieved by a combination of Sales Leadership and P&L Management:
- Grow double-digit top line and operating profit YOY in line with short-medium- and long-term goals.
- General administration of the Nidec Drives organization to build long-term success by maximizing human capital and ensuring financial efficiency, legal & contractual compliance.
- Utilize Commercial analysis and acumen by looking at opportunities to take out operational and opportunity costs, improve cash flow through effective and efficient financial controls.
- Sales Leadership: Spearhead double-digit YOY growth. Expand market share in existing and new segments.
- P&L Management: Optimize financial efficiency, ensuring strong cash flow and compliance.
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute strategies for OEM and Distribution markets. Focus on acquiring high revenue customers and new market segments.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing sales team. Foster a customer-centric culture.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline operations across departments. Ensure legal and financial compliance.
- Strategic Alignment: Drive the mission to double our business in 5 years. Align local strategies with North Europe's vision and Nidec Drives corporate strategy.
- KPI Monitoring: Oversee operational and strategic KPI tracking. Regularly evaluate business performance against set targets.
- Forecasting: Lead sales forecasting and management. Ensure accurate predictions and adjust strategies accordingly. Report the sales team's performance on weekly, monthly, quarterly and on annual basis.
- Sales Management: Maintain and update the sales pipeline. Use CRM tools to manage customer relationships and reporting requirements.
- New Business Development: Achieve annual new business development targets in both direct OEM and indirect channels (Distributors, Panel Builders, and Systems Integrators).
- Experience: Proven success as a Sales Leader or BU Director. Strong P&L management skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Expertise in Variable Frequency Drives and the DACH Industrial Automation market.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration or Engineering preferred.
- Languages: Fluent in English and German.
