At Exyte, we're passionate about innovation and engineering excellence. As a Subcontract Management expert, you'll play a critical role in our fast-growing company, working on large-scale technological projects in engineering and construction.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and controlling subcontractor performance
  • Commercial processing of subcontractor claims
  • Supplement and change management with subcontractors
  • Claim management in close coordination with contract management
  • Minimizing risks due to delays from subcontractors
  • Negotiating contract conclusions
  • Closely cooperating with engineering, design, quality, scheduling, and project management
  • Continuous improvement management through regular feedback
  • Regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in economics or engineering
  • Extensive experience in process technology for biopharma or semiconductor production plants (GMP, media supply)
  • Several years of professional and project experience from large construction and engineering projects
  • High commercial and technical expertise
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and SAP (an advantage)
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English (at least level B2)
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, including longer assignments on our construction sites within Germany
  • A proactive approach, delivering results, and collaborating across the company
  • Ability to make decisions and take responsibility for those decisions
  • Openness to working on projects and embracing change as an opportunity for development
  • Drive to develop yourself and encourage others to explore opportunities beyond their comfort zone
