**Director, Venture Catalyst**

**About the Role**
We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as the Director of Venture Catalyst. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, launching and directing programming for our flagship events, and developing a yearly programming strategy to inspire and connect the local innovation community.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and lead a diverse team of innovators, creatives, and leaders.
- Develop and execute a yearly programming strategy to drive community engagement and connection.
- Secure strategic partnerships with local ecosystem leaders to build inclusive programs.
- Collaborate with our global network to connect the local community to global opportunities.
- Lead strategic planning, impact measurement, and program budgeting.
- Hire, lead, and coach direct reports towards success.
- Identify and mitigate risks to the effective operation of our events.
**Requirements**
- Strong understanding of the local innovation ecosystem and key influencers.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Comfort with digital media channels and project management software.
- Availability to work at our flagship events from 3-8pm.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
- Legal work authorization in Germany.
