Client Technology Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure seamless IT service delivery across locations for infrastructure services, aligning with BorgWarner's global standards.
- Support local production and manufacturing connectivity, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Act as a liaison between the European Data Center Team and other stakeholders, facilitating ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Focus on IT support resulting from restructuring plans, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Participate in distributed service teams, taking ownership of specific service teams and contributing to building IT service relationships with customers.
- Ensure quality services are performed to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Support the implementation and provision of services, ensuring alignment with BorgWarner's strategic objectives.
- Monitor, control, and support service delivery, adhering to established systems, processes, and methodologies.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd Level Operations for Client, Mobile, Security, Web, and Network related services, resolving complex technical issues.
- Engage in independent troubleshooting and problem-solving, sharing best practices with the team.
- Collaborate with the global team to improve infrastructure services, driving innovation and excellence.
- Coordinate and escalate operational issues and solution proposals to Management, ensuring timely resolution.
- Build and maintain strong IT service relationships with customers across levels, establishing a professional reputation.
- Foster a positive team culture, promoting morale and team spirit while driving results and successes.
- Understand and apply Incident, Problem, and Change Management Principles, ensuring effective service delivery.
Education/Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Information Technology, with a strong focus on technical expertise.
- Proficient in German, with effective communication skills in English, and additional European languages a plus.
- Willingness to travel to different locations in Germany, supporting the team's needs.
- 2-3 years of experience in a Client Service Team, with a strong background in technical support.
- Proven experience in 2nd and 3rd Level support in a multi-language environment.
- Technical troubleshooting skills, with expertise in layers 7-4.
- Experience in support coordination across 1st – 2nd – 3rd level teams.
- Knowledge of Service Management (Service NOW as preference) and/or ITIL Principles.
- Experience in interacting with (Senior) Management, driving business outcomes.
- Expertise in Client/Server Infrastructures, Microsoft Office Applications, and Mobile Device Management.
- Strong technical and innovation affinity, with experience in Apple IOS and Microsoft OS (WIN 10, 11 plus).
- Focus on User Satisfaction, with proficiency in German and effective communication in English.
