Job Summary

The Director of Life Cycle Cost Optimization will lead a high-performance team responsible for long-term revenue management of Wabtec Transit Services Group.

About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a strong understanding of life cycle cost management, pricing, and revenue growth strategies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of driving business outcomes and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement life cycle cost optimization strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability
  • Lead a team of experts in life cycle cost management, pricing, and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with regional leaders to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Interface with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, engineering, and operations teams
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of life cycle cost optimization strategies

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or economics
  • At least 10 years of experience in a leadership role, with a strong background in life cycle cost management, pricing, and revenue growth
  • Proven track record of driving business outcomes and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of finance, technology, and services business
  • Experience working in a matrix environment, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional reviews and workouts
  • Automating processes and tools knowledge, using data management and AI
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 15-25% depending on location
