Your Responsibilities

FTAPI Software GmbH is in search of a seasoned and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to become a vital part of our executive leadership team. The successful candidate will oversee the complete management of our financial operations and will be instrumental in driving our growth and international expansion initiatives.

  • Financial Strategy Development:
    • Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with FTAPI's growth ambitions.
    • Supervise all accounting functions, ensuring precision and adherence to regulations.
    • Lead the finance department, offering guidance and nurturing a culture of ongoing enhancement.
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis:
    • Employ analytical tools such as Power BI to deliver comprehensive financial reports and insights.
    • Maintain and refine the financial reporting structure, guaranteeing timely and precise financial documentation.
    • Oversee the budgeting process and financial forecasting to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Communication with Stakeholders:
    • Act as the primary financial representative for the board of directors, investors, and other essential stakeholders.
    • Effectively convey complex financial data to both internal and external audiences.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Guide the data team in establishing financial metrics and KPIs tailored for SaaS enterprises.
    • Encourage a collaborative atmosphere across all departments, fostering trust and confidence among staff.
    • Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth and development.
  • Strategic Collaboration:
    • Partner closely with the CEO and the Board, providing essential insights and constructively challenging ideas.
    • Assist the CEO in strategic projects and contribute to business decisions and growth strategies.
  • Global Market Expansion:
    • Devise and implement financial strategies to facilitate international market growth, particularly in Europe.
    • Ensure compliance and effective risk management in new markets.
Your Profile
  • Demonstrated experience as a CFO or in a comparable financial leadership position.
  • Experience in the software or technology sector, particularly within a SaaS B2B context, is essential.
  • Strong grasp of SaaS business models and relevant financial metrics.
  • Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with proficiency in tools like Power BI.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Leadership traits that instill confidence and promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Strategic thinker with a long-term vision and a commitment to seeing initiatives through to fruition.
  • Fluency in German and English; knowledge of additional European languages is advantageous.
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary.
