About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Strategic Associate to join our team at Flexa. As a key member of our founding and management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Planning & Reporting: Develop and refine our business plan, and drive performance against forecasts.
  • Investor Relations & External Communications: Support engagement with our shareholders and other stakeholders through board presentations, PR, and brand management.
  • Product Development: Collaborate with our product team on strategic topics, including competitor benchmarking, and provide operational support in stakeholder management.
  • Finance & Operations: Lead key efforts on operations and finance topics, such as process optimization and automation, and grant applications.
  • Operating Model: Drive projects to improve our way of working and team effectiveness, including optimizing knowledge sharing and documentation.
Requirements
  • Entrepreneurial Personality: Strong self-initiative, result-orientation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical Skills: High degree of diligence and analytical skills.
  • Technical Savvy: Ability to work with data and translate customer value into technical concepts.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the energy market, top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or energy/sustainability-related start-ups.
  • Academic Background: Outstanding academic track record with a degree in engineering, business administration, or economics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Programming Skills: Working knowledge of programming to drive automation of processes.
  • Entrepreneurial Experience: Previous entrepreneurial experiences.
