Job Summary:
The Project Manager/Project Coordinator position will be based out of Zeeco's operations, requiring knowledge of all Zeeco products, with a focus on Incinerators division products and relevant technical requirements. Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects to assure high-quality products are delivered on time, within the assigned budget, and satisfying customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews Purchase Order and confirms scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotation.
- Confirms equipment selection and designs and performs/coordinates required disciplines.
- Coordinates drafting activities to ensure all required drawings are completed on time.
- Reviews customer mark-ups, clarifies comments, and instructs drafting as to disposition.
- Ensures costs will be within the assigned budget and manages any changes with the customer and suppliers.
- Maintains delivery schedule based on customer requirements and Zeeco workloads, including coordination of drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Pre-orders materials as required for meeting delivery.
- Coordinates and provides information to the Quality Control Department for customer/job specifications.
- Coordinates all required technical and commercial correspondence related to the project. This includes all internal communications and all correspondence with the customer, end user, sales reps, and/or outside consultants.
- Coordinates written advice and commercial resolution with the customer concerning any change to the scope of supply.
- Notifies the Accounts Department when billings are to be sent.
- Performs other related duties as assigned, such as site or workshop trips, design activities, and supporting sales and application engineering.
Requirements:
- B.S. degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.) and/or five (5) years related experience in a manufacturing environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have personal computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A passion for Engineering and Business - even though the position requires an Engineering qualification or background, business acumen and commercial sound decision-making are necessary to succeed in the role.
- Results-driven and commitment to perform.
- Must be fluent in English and German.
