Electrical Service Engineer

Why Nordex Group?

We're a leading manufacturer of wind turbines, and we're looking for a skilled Electrical Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our wind turbines.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd Level remote support for electrical components, including Pitch & Yaw Systems, Blade Sensor Systems, and Blade Anti-Icing.
  • Troubleshoot complex and time-critical WTG failures, working closely with our technical experts to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary project work as a technical expert, driving improvements in fleet reliability and performance.
  • Set a high standard for HSE and quality, ensuring our operations meet the highest standards.
  • Represent Service interests with suppliers, fostering strong relationships and driving value.
  • Prepare and verify technical documentation, developing and implementing updates and retrofits.
  • Investigate and document root cause analyses, providing actionable insights for improvement.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the wind industry.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of electrical components.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent English language skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Proficiency in standard software, including Microsoft Office.
  • Will to travel occasionally, with a flexible attitude.
