Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities...

Crafting unforgettable experiences for guests that encourage repeat visits. Leading and inspiring a dynamic team that is passionate about guest satisfaction, by setting clear objectives, empowering team members, and fostering an inclusive atmosphere. Collaborating with Duty Managers and other departments to develop sales strategies and maximize occupancy rates. Managing departmental budgets and ensuring expenses align with financial guidelines. Training staff on hotel Standard Operating Procedures and proactively identifying areas for improvement. Maintaining strong relationships between Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage departments. Being knowledgeable and compliant with all health and safety regulations. Participating in hotel emergency response teams and being well-versed in related protocols. Delivering exceptional customer service to both external and internal stakeholders, building lasting relationships with suppliers and contractors. Assisting the sales and marketing team with site tours and being well-informed about hotel amenities. Qualifications

Ideal Candidate...

A proven track record in delivering outstanding guest experiences, whether for overnight guests or casual visitors. Previous experience in a similar role or as an Assistant Manager looking to advance, with a strong background in Front Office operations. Familiarity with property management systems such as Micros Fidelio Opera. Knowledge of health and safety practices and their implementation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. A natural leader who sets an example and cultivates an environment where team members can thrive.
