Lead and Grow a High-Impact Team in Analytical Instrumentation
Agilent Technologies is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President/General Manager to lead our Liquid Phase Separations Division (LPSD) in Waldbronn, Germany. This pivotal role will oversee the strategic direction, financial performance, and operational excellence of LPSD, driving growth and innovation within the life sciences, diagnostics, and applied chemical markets.
Your Impact:
- P&L Ownership: Directly responsible for the profitability and financial success of LPSD, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership.
- Strategic Visionary: Define and execute comprehensive business strategies to capitalize on emerging market trends and customer needs within the analytical instrumentation sector.
- Team Development & Engagement: Cultivate a high-performing culture by fostering employee engagement, attracting top talent, and developing future leaders within LPSD.
- Results-Driven Leader: Deliver exceptional results by aligning teams on key financial and business objectives, consistently meeting deadlines, and driving operational efficiency.
- Collaborative Partner: Actively participate in cross-functional initiatives across Agilent's Life Sciences & Applied Genomics (LSAG) organization to ensure alignment and maximize impact.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field; advanced degrees are highly preferred.
- 10+ years of proven leadership experience in product marketing, research & development, or business development within the analytical instrumentation industry.
- Demonstrated success in P&L management, strategic planning, and execution within a complex business environment.
- Deep understanding of end markets related to pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, life sciences, and chemical analysis.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of building high-performing teams, driving innovation, and achieving ambitious goals.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
